Dr. Draper was born and raised in Arizona. She grew up in Flagstaff, then Chinle, Arizona. Chinle is on the Navajo reservation in Northern Arizona. Dr. Draper is a member of the Navajo Tribe. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Arizona in 1983. She attended and graduated veterinary school at Colorado State University in 1992. She is a mixed animal veterinarian working in both small and large animal medicine. For the past 11 years, she has practiced exclsively small animal medicine in the valley. Her passion is her horses. Owning 6 quarter horses, she is active in rodeos and is now coaching her grandchildren in their rodeo careers. When she is not at Ocotillo Animal Clinic she on her family ranch enjoying her horses. Her family includes her 4 amazing grandchildren that are the center of her universe. To them she is known as “Nana” and she try’s to steal them away and spend as much time with them as possible. Dr. Draper owns one miniature pinscher/ Chihuahua mixed dog named “Snooki”. She is Dr. Drapers toy sized ranch dog.
