Dr. Leslie Wheeler opened her first hospital, Ocotillo Animal Clinic, November 3rd, 1997 which was located in what used to be a Bashas shopping center on Alma School and Queen Creek Rd. in Chandler, Arizona. After 5 long years of dealing with contractors, Dr Wheeler’s lifelong dream was born.She now had a small animal veterinary facility, larger than anywhere she had worked before, equipped with a full service boarding and grooming. Now she fulfills her passion serving the animals of Chandler.

November 3rd, 2006 was the grand opening for Ocotillo Animal Clinic & Pet Resort. We are located at 3333 S Arizona Ave in Chandler, Arizona, just northeast of Hamilton High School, adjacent to the Chandler Baptist Church. Although we are now located in a new larger facility, the high quality, compassionate veterinary care and grooming has not changed. In addition, we now offer private boarding rooms for your furry family member when you need to travel, or simply need a friendly, loving, and caring daycare center.
